Garrison Rifle & Revolver Club - AGC Range Charter Club

Garrison Action Shotgun Fun Shoot, May 24th, 2025 2-6pm

RSVP for the club's 2025 Action Fun Shoot for Garrison Rifle and Revolver club members.  

Garrison will be holding our action shotgun, pistol, and pistol caliber carbine event and cookout on May 24th on shooting Bays 4 and 5.  Food and drinks are provided after.

Who:  Current Garrison members (plus one family member), New members (18 or older)

Bring:

  • Shotguns, Pistols, Pistol caliber carbines (PCC)
  • Steel Target Ammo: 7.5-9 birdshot (<1300fps), .22-.45 (<1500fps)
  • Paper/Bottle Ammo: Shotgun shells or ammo including above.
  • Plastic soda bottles (especially 2-liter), plastic milk jugs
We will set up a course of fire to allow shooters to get some practice with their shotguns that may be collecting dust. Bring out your tactical/riot shotguns or whatever you have!   Volunteers wishing to help should be there at 1:30pm.

Shooting will begin at 2pm, and we will shoot until everyone has had their fill of the course. After that, we will set up some fun targets like milk jugs/soda bottles to blast.  Save and bring whatever empty plastic bottles/jugs you may have.

We will have a few steel targets set up, but they may only be fired upon with size 7.5-9 birdshot, less than 1300 FPS velocity. Shooters may shoot any type of shotgun shell at paper targets/bottles.  You may also bring a pistol or PCC if you like, any pistols may be fired at paper, but steel targets must be .22-.45 cal, less than 1500 FPS velocity.

Food and beverages will be served in Memorial Hall following the shoot.  We will have burgers, hot dogs and assorted sides.

Garrison members are encouraged to bring others (18 or older) to join Garrison on this day so they can participate.  Membership forms will be provided.  New members should bring $50 cash/check to join Garrison. Members may also bring one household family member along.

Garrison hats will be available at the event for $10 each.

This event is weather dependent, if there is an issue a notice will be sent out to those who RSVP'd.
