Reactive Target Rifle/Pistol Challenge

Match to be held on the AGC 50 Yard Range

All AGC range badge holders are cordially invited to attend.

Courses of Fire:

Lollipop Shoot

• .22 rim fire pistols/revolvers only.
• This match shall be fired at 15 Yards.
• There shall be two individuals firing on Lollipop Clay Target Set. There will be a Stop Clay Target at the center of the target string.
• All firing shall be from standing position.
• Each participant shall need to clean all of their targets prior to firing on the stop plate. First one to shoot and hit the stop target (clay bird or balloon) wins.
• Any sight is permitted.

Steel Plate Shoot

• Any caliber pistol/revolver except FN 5.7.
• Any rim fire rifle.
• Any sight.
• This match will be fired at 50 yards.
• There shall be two individuals firing on a steel plate target set. There will be a Stop Target at the center of the target string.
• Each participant shall need to clean all of their targets prior to firing on the stop plate. First one to shoot and hit the stop target plate wins.
• All firing shall be from standing position.

Supplemental Range Rules

1. All participants and spectators shall wear eye & hearing protection at all times while on the concrete pad.
2. All gun handling will be done only on a hot range and in full view of the RSO.
3. Match Director and RSO will be in command at all times. Anyone failing to follow their commands will be directed to leave.
4. Each participant shall assist in cleanup and resetting the targets at the end of each course of fire.
5. Handguns shall not be carried in a holster. Gun rugs are preferred. When not in use, firearms shall be unloaded and have an empty magazine well with the action open and ECI inserted. Anyone found in violation of this rule shall be immediately escorted by a Match Official to a suitable safe area where appropriate corrective action shall be made.
6. When loading or reloading during a course of fire, the competitors trigger finger shall be visibly outside the trigger guard and the firearm shall be pointed safely down range at all times.
